Job summary

Regional School Unit 2 in Maine is seeking a Grant Funded Intervention Specialist to provide direct small group and 1:1 support in reading, math, writing and SEL, and to assist with implementing a systematic school-wide MTSS. This role reports to the MTSS Coordinator, collaborates with teachers on strategies and materials used during interventions, and participates in progress monitoring.

Start date is as soon as possible; salary is set by the Educational Technician agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct small group and 1:1 intervention and progress monitoring for students
• Assist with implementing a systematic school-wide MTSS
• Communicate regularly with teachers about strategies/materials used during interventions and implementation of services
• Implement specialized services to meet the needs of each student
