Job summary

MSAD 11 is seeking an Educational Technician III - MTSS Behavior Interventionist to support elementary students with behavioral needs at Laura E. Richards School and Pittston-Randolph School in Maine.

Two positions available, immediate openings; requires TE III and CHRC authorizations and willingness to complete Safety Care training. Role emphasizes collaboration with teachers to implement strategies and supports for student success.

Qualifications

• Must have Educational Technician III authorization and CHRC authorization.
• Willingness to take Safety Care training.
• Ability to relate well to students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide elementary behavioral supports and interventions.
• Deliver instruction in self-regulation, executive function, and social skills.
• Will be trained in crisis de-escalation and apply Safety Care as needed.
• Provide behavioral consultation to staff regarding accommodations and modifications for students.
• Collaborate with Regular and Special Education teachers to support student success.
