Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of full-time laboratory experience with an Associate’s degree as described above.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the High School Diploma path.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory fluid or tissue samples using quantitative and qualitative techniques and operate lab equipment.
• Prepare and maintain standard media, cultures, reagents, stains and solutions; manage records and inventories.
• Assist in training or leading staff or students in laboratory tasks and contribute to safety and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field

Associate’s degree in a science-related field + 2 years full-time lab experience

High School Diploma or GED + 4 years full-time lab experience
