Job summary

ReNEW Schools seeks an Elementary Math Teacher to support student learning and teacher development across grades K–6. You will work with the Elementary Math Coach, classroom teachers, and staff to strengthen MTSS for mathematics and align instruction with district curricula.

The role requires a licensed elementary teacher with strong math content knowledge, collaborative mindset, and experience in interventions or co‑teaching. This is a grant-funded, 184‑day contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education required; advanced degree or math endorsement preferred.
• Valid Indiana teaching license (Elementary) required.
• Demonstrated strength and content knowledge in mathematics instruction.
• Experience in small-group instruction, interventions, or co‑teaching preferred.
• Knowledge of MTSS frameworks and data‑driven instructional practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Elementary Math Coach and math instructional assistants to support math instruction.
• Partner with classroom teachers to co‑teach lessons and model effective mathematics instructional practices.
• Provide targeted small‑group instruction and interventions for students in grades K–6.
• Support teachers in implementing evidence‑based instructional strategies aligned to district goals.
• Utilize district‑approved assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Participate in MTSS meetings, providing data analysis and instructional recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes.
