Job summary

UCHC seeks a Grant Writer & Development Coordinator to advance fundraising goals. This in-person role researches and writes grant proposals, supports funding requests, and coordinates donor communication and stewardship activities.

The Coordinator manages awarded grants from award through closeout, ensures reporting compliance, and assists with campaign planning and donor engagement. As a member of the Development Committee, occasional board-related meetings and community events outside standard

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant nonprofit or human services experience, grant writing or fundraising.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with grant writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Lead proposal development, LOIs, budgets, and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strong applications.
• Submit proposals and LOIs to meet fundraising goals.
• Maintain grant calendar, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Draft interim and final grant reports with finance and program staff.
• Coordinate donor communications and post-award stewardship.
