Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of accounting experience or equivalent professional experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Adobe Systems and ERP Systems Experience in SAP a bonus.
  • Ability to multi task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Display a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Process grant allocation payments in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established procedures;
  • Resolve issues with payment discrepancies;
  • Prepare and keep up to date paperwork as it relates to grant allocation payments;
  • Request funds as needed for approved payments;
  • Enter payments wires into banking system when applicable;
  • Record notices of grant cancellations into the accounting grant tracking system ACAL;
  • Keep track of cancelled grants worksheets and update appropriately;
  • Assist with quarterly reconciliation of accounting and allocation databases;
  • Assist with preparation of reports as needed for annual audit;
  • Assist with additional reports and projects as needed
