Job summary

Oklahoma State University – Stillwater campus seeks an experienced grant accounting professional to administer sponsored awards, oversee invoicing, financial reporting, and compliance with cost accounting standards and applicable regulations. This role partners with sponsors and college offices to ensure allowability and timely payments.

Hiring range is $50,400 to $78,750 annually; appointment length is Regular Continuous/Until Further Notice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (degree conferred by start date).
Univ Acct I - no experience required.
Univ Acct II - Two years of related experience.
Univ Acct III - Five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Administer federal, state, and private sponsored awards.
Invoicing, financial reporting, and preparation of financial reconciling documents.
Auditing disbursements and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Approval of expenditures via electronic systems for allowability and reasonableness.
Monthly review of financial reports for each award.
Coordinate with sponsors, colleges, and faculty to assure payments.
Provide training to outside offices as requested.
