Job summary

The State of Oregon is looking for a full-time Grant Accountant (Accountant 2) in Salem, Oregon. In this role, you will ensure grants are thoroughly evaluated, completed, and reported in compliance with federal and state regulations. You will also work as a consultant to department programs and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a CPA or CGFM certificate with 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent credits with relevant experience.
  • Experience in financial data analysis and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure grants and funding agreements are evaluated and monitored accurately.
  • Consult to assigned department programs and provide customer service.
  • Record financial information accurately in the financial management system.
