Job summary

South Carolina Department of Public Health is seeking a grant accounting professional to manage financial reporting, invoicing, and federal draw-downs for multiple programs. The role involves reconciling cash draws with federal systems and ensuring accurate grant management across HUD, WIC, USHHS, and DOJ-funded projects.

Responsibilities include processing daily WIC and Farmers Market draws, handling wire transfers, and supporting ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or banking is preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit internal and external financial reports for grants, including FFRs.
• Prepare, review, and submit invoices for grant-funded contracts.
• Reconcile federal draw-downs with HUD/WIC/USHHS/DOJ systems and manage cash draws.
• Process daily WIC food and Farmers Market draws and arrange supporting documents for payments.
• Provide support for ad-hoc duties to meet operational needs.
