Job summary

Rocktops is a state-of-the-art granite and stone fabrication facility in Olathe, KS serving the production and installation of high-quality countertop surfaces for our clients. We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Machine Operator to join our team.

This position maintains, feeds, and oversees the operation of the Baca Machine, loads programs, performs preventative maintenance, and ensures production schedules are met while upholding our core values: Problem Solving, Work Ethic, and

Qualifications

• Read a tape measurer down to 1/16 of an inch.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Ability to adapt and embrace change in production.
• Excellent attention to detail, organized, flexible and punctual.
• Safety-minded with strong mechanical aptitude and shop drawing literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain the operation of the BACA Robot and CNC.
• Read and interpret CAD cut lists and select materials accordingly.
• Load router tooling and parts, position for accurate renesting when needed.
• Inspect slabs for imperfections and load programs to maintain schedules.
