Lumbermen’s in Shelbyville is seeking a skilled countertop installer to measure, fabricate, and install solid surface, granite, and quartz countertops. You will travel to job sites in a company vehicle and coordinate with customers to ensure precise, safe installations.

Key duties include reading tape measures, lifting up to 75 lb, operating shop and installation tools, and maintaining high safety and quality standards while supporting team success and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Construction experience is helpful but not required.
• Hilo operator’s license (will train if needed)
• Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record (can assist with obtaining chauffer’s license)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb

Responsibilities

• Measure, fabricate, and install solid surface, granite, and quartz countertops.
• Travel to job sites in a company vehicle.
• Facilitate safe, efficient installation of surfaces, sinks, and faucets.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and resolve issues where needed.
• Remove existing countertop materials per job order.
