Job summary

UNITED COOPERATIVE is seeking a safety-minded loader/unloader to handle materials for rail cars and trucks. The role runs on a day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities spanning loading dry and wet distillers grain, ethanol, and corn oil, operating equipment, moving materials, and recording production data.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work with teams, and follow both written and oral instructions while maintaining accurate inventories and

Qualifications

• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Safely and efficiently operates equipment including payload and Rail King.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units moved on daily production sheet.
• Assists maintenance and process teams with various duties.

Responsibilities

• Load dry and wet distillers grain, ethanol, and corn oil onto trucks and railcars.
• Move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Complete daily transfers in tank farm and provide samples to the lab.
• Perform simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.
• Operate the scale house when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventories of DDG, corn, and ethanol.
