Job summary

Green Plains Inc. is seeking a dedicated operator to run loading and unloading operations for ethanol, distillers grains, and corn.

You will weigh, grade, and ensure product quality to meet contracts, while maintaining accurate records for shipments. You will work with railcar and truck logistics, keep equipment and plant areas in top condition, and coordinate with maintenance and production to ensure timely unloading and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in grain receiving and grading.
• Excellent Microsoft Office software skills.
• Ability to greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to multitask and work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment for loading and unloading of ethanol, distillers and corn.
• Weigh and grade raw materials and final products according to specifications.
• Load/unload by railcar and truck in a timely manner.
• Maintain records related to products loaded for shipment.
• Keep plant areas clean, organized, and tour-ready.
• Inspect and maintain rolling stock equipment and report issues.
• Communicate with maintenance on mechanical problems and safety concerns.
• Enter customer and product data into grain receiving software.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company SOPs.
