You will build comprehensive supply/demand models for major agricultural markets and develop granular balance sheet analytics to generate actionable trading insights in corn, soybeans, wheat, and related commodities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an analyst in agricultural commodities or related markets.
• Strong quantitative modeler with supply/demand fundamentals experience.
• Deep knowledge of market seasonality, production cycles, and trade flows.
• Analytical thinker with expertise in statistical modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment.
• Strong communicator, able to translate analysis into actionable insights.
• Coding skills are preferred.

Job description

We are looking to hire an experienced Grains and Oilseeds Analyst to collaborate closely with our Trading team to build comprehensive supply/demand models for major agricultural markets, develop granular balance sheet analytics, and generate actionable trading insights in corn, soybeans, wheat, and other key agricultural commodities.

About You

• Have 3+ years of analyst experience in agricultural commodities, grains, or related commodity markets
• Strong quantitative modeler with experience in supply/demand fundamentals analysis
• Have a deep understanding of agricultural market seasonality, production cycles, and trade flows
• Highly analytical thinker with proficiency in statistical modeling and scenario analysis
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights
• Coding skills are preferred

Base salary is $300,000. Base salary is only one part of Jane Street total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
