Job summary

Columbia Grain International in Jamestown, ND is hiring a Warehouse Operator to record data for receiving, storing and shipping grain. You will weigh grain, take samples, print scale tickets, and help maintain storage locations.

You’ll also operate conveyors, elevators, and forklifts while following safety procedures. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to read manuals and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and open/close gates to control grain flow.
• Weigh grain accurately and print scale tickets for unloads/loads.
• Take representative grain samples and record results.
• Maintain storage location charts for tanks and bins.
• Operate conveyors, bucket elevators, and storage tanks for loading.
• Prepare rail cars for loading and inspect lids safely.
• Operate a forklift and perform basic maintenance tasks.
