Job summary

Western Grain Marketing is seeking a Grain Truck Driver to securely operate tractor-trailer equipment for grain deliveries and pickups on a schedule that supports profitable growth. You will perform daily safety checks, maintain vehicle readiness, and ensure accurate documentation at day’s end.

Eligibility includes a high school diploma and a preference for 2+ years of related experience to meet DOT standards. Overtime and performance-based bonuses may apply in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
• Two (2) years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to operate tractor-trailer equipment safely and to meet company and DOT standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates all assigned vehicles in accordance with safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
• Performs and records daily safety checks of assigned vehicle(s) including pre-trip inspections.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and adheres to the preventative maintenance program.
• Ensures deliveries and pickups meet time schedules and provide professional customer service.
• Completes documentation such as bills of ladings, delivery tickets, and invoices accurately.
