Job summary

Nexus Cooperative in Wells, MN is seeking a Truck Driver to haul grain from the location to end users and to move grain off the farm when assigned. This role requires a Class A CDL and flexibility for an unpredictable schedule.

You will deliver timely, safe service, adhere to safety guidelines, maintain vehicles, and collaborate with teammates and other departments to support the cooperative's mission. Three years of experience are preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Three years or more experience.
• Able to work unpredictable schedule.
• Has or willing to obtain Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of products in an assigned territory.
• Observe safety guidelines in accordance with company policy, federal & state safety rules.
• Follow designated delivery routes to minimize and reduce miles driven.
• Perform daily safety checks on all vehicles and equipment and properly document/report any safety hazards.
• Always utilize good customer service skills when servicing and greeting customers and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
• Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Keeps vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company image.
• Assist with other locations, as needed.
• Must be a team player.
• Work overtime as required.Perform other duties as assigned.
