Job summary

CHS Inc. is hiring an Experienced Grain Settlement Specialist to join its finance team at the French, MN office right outside of Fergus Falls, MN. The role focuses on supporting the procure-to-pay process for business unit customers and vendors and seeks opportunities for process improvement.

This onsite position requires accuracy, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage data flow and grain settlements. You will participate in special projects and collaborate with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or AP/AR.
• High School diploma or GED.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Track receipt of data and source documents.
• Prepare and sort source documents and interpret data to be entered.
• Contact preparers of source document to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data.
• Maintain accurate and complete client files/filing.
• Enter and apply grain tickets, accurately process grain settlements, and make necessary corrections.
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve results as required.
• Perform general clerical duties such as typing, scanning, copying, answering phones, filing, etc.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
