Job summary

The Andersons is seeking a grain operations associate to handle receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain. The role emphasizes safety, quality and compliance with food safety policies while supporting packaging operations.

Hours are 7a-4p with overtime depending on season; minimal supervision and a focus on training in food safety and quality practices. The position may involve scale work and some administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned grain operations tasks including facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklift, bobcat, or payloader.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures.
• Perform tasks to promote safety and quality of our products.
• Participate in required food safety and quality meetings and training.
• Report any food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
