Job summary

Western Grain Marketing LLC is seeking a dedicated operator to run the grain elevator scale, weigh inbound/outbound grain, and issue scale tickets while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves accurate data recording, coordinating with drivers, and supporting grain grading processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate grain elevator scale and record weights and grades.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify inbound trucks, weigh in, record data, and sample as applicable.
• Perform grading tests for grains as required and record results.
• Record grades, splits, weights, and other information accurately.
• Direct trucks to the correct location and manage weigh-out processes.
• Complete scale tickets timely and maintain documentation legibly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
