Job summary

Gold Star FS, Inc in Cambridge, IL, is seeking a Grain Sales Support to assist grain handling, safety, and maintenance in the Grain division. The role reports to the Grain Department Manager and is non-exempt, with salary range $17–$20 per hour.

Responsibilities include handling incoming, stored, and outgoing grain; ensuring OSHA and state/federal compliance; delivering professional customer service; assisting the crops department; and maintaining a neat, compliant appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.”
• Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for grain handling, including incoming, stored, and outgoing grain.
• Maintaining compliance with OSHA as well as with state and federal safety and maintenance regulations.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Assisting in the crops department.
• Adheres to the uniform policy and maintains the appropriate professional image.
