Job summary

Green Plains Inc. is seeking a plant operator to operate and maintain equipment for loading and unloading ethanol and distillers products.

You will weigh and grade raw materials and final products, ensure quality, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with maintenance to address mechanical issues. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask; familiarity with grain receiving is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in grain receiving and grading preferred.
• Must be hard-working and self-motivated.
• Excellent Microsoft Office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery for loading/unloading of ethanol, distillers and corn.
• Weigh/grade raw materials and final products.
• Ensure grain quality meets contracts and reject non-conforming shipments.
• Load/unload via railcar and truck in a timely manner.
• Document inspection results and keep records accurate.
