CHS Inc. offers a paid Grain Originator Intern program designed to connect students with real-world agricultural marketing and origination activities. You’ll work alongside our full‑time grain originator, engaging with local producers to secure grain and develop marketing plans.

Based in Ruthton, MN for Summer 2027, this hands‑on internship lets you gain practical skills, connect with mentors, and explore how CHS businesses collaborate to empower agriculture.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and assist with grain origination: procure grain from local producers and call on new accounts.
• Learn and observe working with producers, updating them on market trends, current grain quotes, grain programs, and forming marketing plans.
• Assist with reporting and typing all purchasing contracts quickly & accurately.
• Assist Grain Originator with rail billing and grain sales settlements as needed.
• Partner with the elevator and office staff in the exchange of information to enhance the flow of grain.
• Provide excellent customer service and work well with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
