Job summary

The Andersons in Michigan is seeking a grain operations teammate to perform receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging, and shipping of grain. This hands-on role supports the farm-to-customer value chain and emphasizes safety and product quality.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, conduct inspections, assist with maintenance, and ensure compliance with food safety policies. A High School Diploma or GED and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years' relevant experience required.
• Proven ability to operate grain processing equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform grain operations tasks including facility upkeep, equipment operation, sampling, and packaging.
• Operate mobile equipment such as a forklift, bobcat, or payloader.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of processing equipment.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and contamination.
• Inspect quality of incoming/outgoing product and report findings.
• Maintain adherence to food safety policies and participate in related meetings.
