Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural, commodity, logistics, or maintenance environments is valued.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL strongly valued.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders, and operate a pallet jack with up to 2000 pounds.
• Display adaptability and flexibility.
• Self-driven, motivated, and organized.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Safety-minded with adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Effective written and verbal communication; confident and positive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Grain bin, dryer, and building housekeeping.
• Assist in loading and unloading grain.
• Understand current and future grain and commodity pricing and market outlooks.
• Develop and improve policies and procedures relating to grain processes for accuracy and cost savings.
• Assist in inventory cycle count processes.
• Operate scales, grain dryer, and other equipment.
• Sample loads, load/unload trucks, and other grain handling operations.
• Site and grain equipment maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance.
• Responsible for daily scale operations; nights and weekends during peak grain season.
