Job summary

CHS Southwest Grain in Dickinson, ND seeks an Operations Specialist to support grain and agronomy operations. You will load/unload products, maintain equipment, and assist in loading trains, with opportunities to obtain required certifications including CDL.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, performing general labor tasks, and delivering to customer sites while maintaining inventory quality and warehouse operations. Prior experience in agriculture is valued.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Pre-employment screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload grain, agronomy, and feed products promptly and safely.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading and attach hoses as needed.
• Deliver products to customer sites and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks and monitor equipment for leaks.
• Maintain inventory quality and monitor blends and bulk products.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or issues to supervision.
• Train to obtain certifications to operate equipment including CDL.
