Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. in the Grain division offers a developmental trainee role designed to build broad business knowledge through hands-on training across commercial, operations, and trading functions.

You will review income statements, oversee staffing and logistics, negotiate contracts, originate grain, and contribute to risk management while adapting to different market conditions. Willingness to relocate and strong leadership potential are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and work experience.
• Preferred degree in Agriculture or Technical Systems Management.
• Experience leading a group of people is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review income statements to understand achievement and monitor downstream effects of commercial decisions.
• Direct daily work including staffing, loading, receiving, and storage plans to maximize efficiency.
• Negotiate cash contracts and grower agreements with an understanding of risks.
