Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Intern in Morris, IL for Summer 2027. You will work with Ag Retail Cooperative Customers to deliver high-quality service and information, while gaining practical skills and leadership insights.

As an intern you will handle loadout functions, operate scale systems, blend products, and maintain inventory quality. You’ll learn from mentors and leaders in a dynamic learning environment with long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all loadout functions.
• Understand and operate automatic scale/dump systems.
• Blend product as prescribed and generate blends.
• Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and blended products.
• Load and unload product from trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform all job functions as needed to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular house cleaning duties, processes, and keeping records.
