Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Intern for Summer 2027 in Morris, IL. This paid internship provides hands-on experience with loadout operations, scale systems, inventory control, and customer service in a busy agricultural facility.

You’ll be enrolled in an agriculture-related degree program and proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential; prior internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Agriculture-related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all loadout functions.
• Understand and operate automatic scale/dump systems.
• Blend product as prescribed and generate blends.
• Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and blended products.
• Load and unload product from trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform all job functions to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular house cleaning duties, processes, and keeping records.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
