Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior operations leader in Illinois to oversee grain quality, implement consistent policies, and optimize capacity utilization and profitability. You will manage staffing, train teams, and coordinate cross‑department logistics, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 3 years' experience in both commercial and operations sides of grain business.
• Knowledge of facility cost structures, mix and blend analysis, safety, efficiency, grain quality, preventive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations including storage, rail and barge handling.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong leadership and planning skills.

Responsibilities
