Job summary

Our client in agribusiness seeks a Grain Facility Manager to lead daily grain storage operations in Maryland, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, hire and train personnel, and implement safety programs while coordinating with grain merchandising to ensure timely, cost-effective movement and storage. The role also requires identifying productivity improvements and capital investments to enhance quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 5-7 years of grain operations experience in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of grain receiving, storage technologies, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, USDA, FDA).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and travel to remote facilities as needed.
