Agtegra Cooperative is seeking Grain Marketing Interns to join our team in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in grain marketing, origination, hedging, and forecasting, working alongside industry experts.

Enrollment in a business, marketing, or sales degree is required, with preference for students in agriculture programs. Competitive pay, flexible start/end dates, and networking opportunities are provided within a major regional cooperative.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a business, marketing, or sales degree.
• Enrollment in an agriculture program is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with grain origination and marketing activities.
• Assist in grain hedging and preparation of revenue forecasts.
• Collaborate with grain originators and farmers on marketing initiatives.
• Manage yield data and support forecasting and budgeting models.
• Assist in calibration of wheat protein samplers ahead of harvest.
• Monitor market information sources and share insights with staff.
