GROWMARK, Inc. is seeking a Commodity Risk Consultant for the MID-CO Commodities unit in Des Moines, IA. You will provide market information, develop merchandising strategies, and manage hedging opportunities for MID-CO accounts.

The role requires a college degree in agricultural economics or marketing and 3+ years in agricultural marketing, plus NFA registration or eligibility. You will travel as needed and support education and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree in agricultural economics or marketing and 3+ years in agricultural marketing.
• Shows ability to provide grain marketing and risk management leadership to member cooperatives.
• Registered with the NFA as an AP or qualified within three months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with futures accounts and provide market information and analysis.
• Identify and evaluate hedging opportunities for MID-CO patrons.
• Place and report on customer futures and options orders; monitor margins.
• Solicit new accounts and serve existing complex accounts with excellence.
• Prepare and present market data, outlooks and hedging strategies at meetings and conferences.
