Job summary

Innovative Ag Services in Iowa is seeking a Location Operator to support daily location operations and maintain equipment and facilities for IAS and its member owners. The role includes loading/unloading grain, operating a semi for hauling, and upholding safety standards while contributing to a professional community presence.

The position requires initiative, strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have basic communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing conditions.
• Must obtain 7C Fumigation License.
• Willing to learn and support grain quality and storage decisions.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned workplace and notify supervisor of absences or lateness.
• Maintain required licenses and physicals for job requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading grain.
• Operate semi to haul grain when needed.
• Maintain equipment and facilities.
• Assist with work orders and delivery/pickup requests.
• Notify shop tools, inventories, or replacement parts needed.
• Keep warehouse, equipment, and facilities clean.
• Participate in safety and job-related training.
• Follow company safety and conduct policies.
• Create a positive, professional image for customers and the community.
• Fill Anhydrous Tanks and maintain tool bars as needed.
• Be able to assist and carry out blending decisions.
• Accept and carry out other duties from the location manager.
