Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager at our Nebraska facility to support inventory control, cost management, scheduling, and asset protection. You will help lead staff and contractors, ensuring safety and maintenance standards while driving improvements in production planning and energy conservation.

This role requires strong collaboration, hands-on leadership of a diverse operations team, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced grain handling environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well with others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in elevator/terminal and farming background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory control within company requirements.
• Support cost control and facility improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate mix & blend opportunities with available grain.
• Schedule preventative maintenance for safe, reliable operations.
• Lead onsite workers including contractors and temps.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory programs.
• Provide excellent customer service as needed.
