Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Production Supervisor to support daily operations at its Joliet, IA facility. You will assist operations leadership in inventory control, cost management, and asset security while ensuring readiness to meet production schedules.

You will lead hourly staff, coordinate maintenance, and develop improvements with a focus on safety and efficiency in a grain/ elevator environment. This is a hands-on supervisory role with outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Secondary education in Agriculture, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior grain handling or feed experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with noise and dust.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and ensure staff adheres to each accordingly.
• Prepare daily work schedules and assignments for hourly staff.
• Follow up on all daily assignments to ensure work is being done efficiently and safely.
• Assist management in developing and executing facility improvements.
• Learning and understanding all operational job tasks within the elevator and mills.
• Lead/coach onsite workers including contractors, temps, and service providers.
• Assist with record keeping and documentation on all incidents according to health and safety standards.
