Job summary

Viserion Grain, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee repair and maintenance of facility equipment and assist with grain handling, storage, and elevator operations at the Dalhart shuttle train facility. The role requires hands-on work with tools, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Experience with welding, fabrication, and grain-elevator environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates/Technical/Mechanical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace faulty equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and replace filters as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical problems via blueprints, manuals, and part catalogs.
• Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams and schematics.
• Operate cutting torches or welding equipment for repairs and fabrication.
• Record all applicable documentation accurately.
• Assist loading, unloading, and transfer of grain and grain products.
