Job summary

You will use hand and power tools, inspect drives and belts, diagnose issues from manuals, and perform welding and fabrication. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with 3–5 years of related experience in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates, Technical or Mechanical Degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment parts and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels and replace filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals and parts catalogs.
• Operate welding equipment for repairs and fabrication.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and plan repair work.
