Job summary

Bartlett, a Savage company and a leading agribusiness, is seeking an Elevator Operator in Council Bluffs, IA to manage grain receiving, storage, drying and loading ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role starts at $21.00 per hour, 6am–2pm, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, including weekends; requires a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal English instructions.
• Available to work overtime and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight/ confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain.
• Monitor stored grain condition and maintain/clean grain facilities and equipment for safety.
• Cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks in the elevator operations.
