Job summary

Ag Valley Co-Op in California is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, ship, and monitor grain, performing routine maintenance and housekeeping as needed.

You will locate, transfer, load and unload materials using appropriate tools, transport them to designated areas, and help maintain a safe, clean working environment.

The role requires good communication, ability to follow directions, and self-motivation to complete tasks with minimal supervision; drug screening will be required after offer.

  • Loads and unloads materials onto and from containers; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.
  • Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participates in quality improvement efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Primary Duties

Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain, plus perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary



  • Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.

  • Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task.

  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.

  • Participates in quality improvement efforts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.


Education/Experience


  • Good communication skills.
