Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers to operate and monitor grain conditioning equipment and to load, weigh, and grade grain for quality. You will work with forklifts and manual tools to ensure proper product flow, moister control, and safe handling.

Housing and meals are provided, with weekly transport arrangements. The role requires at least 3 months of verifiable experience, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and compliance with drug-free policies.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the listed job duties.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license following hire and have a clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Drug test may be required at no cost to the worker and compliance with drug-free workplace policy.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain conditioning equipment to meet quality standards.
• Load hoppers to feed machines using forklifts, suction gates, shovels, pitchforks and other equipment.
• Weigh crop-filled containers and record weights and identifying information.
• Place products in containers according to grade and discard inferior or defective products.
• Monitor grain moisture and grades and report findings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and conditioning areas.
• Load semi-trucks with hopper bottom trailers and deliver grain to market.
• Assist in wildlife habitat management on the farm and Grasslands areas.
• Perform manual labor to develop, maintain or protect forested areas and grasslands.
