Job summary

Heritage Cooperative is seeking a Grain Branch Manager to oversee operations at Cairo and Arlington Grain locations. The role requires splitting time between both sites and managing staff and operations.

You will hire and train personnel, manage grain, feed, and fuel inventories, and ensure safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Split time between two locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at Cairo and Arlington Grain locations; split time between both sites.
• Hire, train, and evaluate branch personnel.
• Manage inventory and condition of grain, feed, and fuel.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide superior customer service and uphold core values.
• Report and maintain records; coordinate with other Heritage locations.

Grain Branch Manager

Full Time Arlington, OH, US

This position oversees operations at both the Cairo and Arlington Grain locations. This position is expected to split time between both and manage staff and operations.

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers

Attentively report and keep records as required by the facility

Be aware of and assure that all assigned personnel comply with government regulations and company safety policies and procedures including safety training, safety meetings and inspections

Conduct annual performance evaluations for all direct reporting employees

Cooperate with all other Heritage Cooperative locations to promote the most efficient use of personnel and equipment

Ensure all branch employees receive required training for assigned tasks

Greet customers in a polite, professional and positive manner

Implement sound inventory control procedures and report accurate inventory measurements when required

Interview, hire, and release all branch personnel

Manage inventory and condition of grain, feed and fuel

Overall supervision of the day-to-day operations of the branch

Oversee preventative maintenance on all branch equipment to obtain the maximum efficiency possible and ensure the longevity of all fixed assets

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time

Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time

Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds

Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.

Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record

Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Respectable Mechanical Skills

Must be able to split time and manage both assigned locations
