Job summary

Landus in Newell, IA, is seeking a motivated team member to support outside agronomy and grain operations. You will greet customers, help grow agronomy and grain origination and marketing with existing and new customers, and assist in elevator operations including grain receiving, drying, and inventory checks.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 (occasionally 100) pounds, and a high school diploma or GED. CDL class A with endorsements is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must understand seasonal fluctuations of an agricultural cooperative.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Support agronomy and grain sales with existing and new customers.
• Assist in elevator operations, including receiving/unloading grain.
• Process grain drying, inventory measurement, and grain train loading.
• Provide customer service for fertilizer and chemical orders.
• Maintain and repair equipment; monitor NH3 nurse tanks.
