Job summary

Central-Farm-Service (CFS) is seeking a Grain Accounting support team member to assist in grain settlements, contracts, position reports and purchase orders. You will work in a details-driven office environment, ensuring accuracy in daily settlements, reports, and reconciliations while adhering to safety policies and providing professional service to customers and internal teams.

Strong organizational skills, integrity and reliability are essential, as is flexibility to handle seasonal extended

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience with computerized accounting software.
• Understanding of grain sales and marketing.
• Demonstrated, strong customer service orientation and experience.
• Willingness to work extended hours on a seasonal basis.
• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, especially while moving back and forth between different tasks.
• A high degree of personal integrity and confidentiality to deal with large financial transactions and customer information.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately settle (issue payments) customer grain purchase contracts.
• Accurately settle sales shipments and enter direct shipments.
• Balance daily position reports and other reconciliation activities.
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.
