Job summary

LJA Transportation seeks a Graduate Engineer to join our team and support design, production, and project administration. You will use AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to assist in feasibilities, cost opinions, studies, and construction plans for a variety of public and private clients.

As an entry-level role, you will gain hands-on experience, mentorship from seasoned engineers, and exposure to diverse projects while pursuing professional development and potential ESOP ownership

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering preferred.
FE exam passed is a plus.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools is desired.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to perform design calculations and prepare specifications.
Develop technical drawings and exhibits to support feasibility studies.
Assist in creating takeoffs, bid packages, and development support tasks.
Support project management and client communications as needed.
Work in an office environment with access to modern technology.
