Job summary

MSA Professional Services seeks a Graduate Engineer – Transportation in Madison, Wisconsin. This entry-level role supports roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation solutions, with mentorship and exposure from planning through design.

You will contribute to intersection and highway improvement projects, CAD and 3D design, traffic modeling, field investigations, and public engagement, gaining hands-on experience and pursuing PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Transportation or traffic engineering coursework or emphasis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform transportation design tasks such as CAD and 3D design for intersection, roadway, and highway projects under supervision.
• Support traffic engineering studies, modeling, and reporting with data collection and analysis.
• Assist with public engagement activities and coordination with multidisciplinary teams on project tasks.
