Graduate Teaching Assistant - Chemistry-7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from an accredited institution;
• Regular admission or good standing in a UA Little Rock graduate program;
• Availability to work 10-20 hours per week with regular attendance.

Job Duties

• Tutoring undergraduate students;
• Managing and teaching undergraduate labs in analytical, organic, or other chemistry courses;
• Grading lab reports, quizzes, and exams;
• Preparing lab reagents and maintaining safety protocols;
• Managing lab waste and cleanliness;
• Proctoring exams and quizzes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Chemistry major with GPA ≥ 3.5;
• Coursework in analytical, physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry;
• Proof of English proficiency.

Additional Information

Salary: $1,444.44/month stipend.
