Job summary

The University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND seeks a Graduate Assistant to support programming and events in the Student Success Center. This role requires 20–30 hours per week and a 2-year commitment starting Aug 17, 2026, with opportunities to assist students and create social media content.

Candidates must be enrolled full-time in the UJ Leadership graduate program, demonstrate ethical conduct, and maintain academic standing.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted as a full-time, degree-seeking student in the UJ Leadership graduate program.
• Demonstrate commitment to the mission of the University of Jamestown.
• Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated, self-reflective, and to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming and events.
• Promoting activities/programming in the Student Success Center
• Hold a minimum of 10 regularly scheduled study table/office hours in the Student Success Center.
• Work with students one-on-one to improve their study skills.
• Create content for social media.
