Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking self-motivated graduates for our Blueprint program in Seattle, WA, to develop as civil/structural engineers. The three-year development journey blends immersive learning with required sessions, building professional, commercial, and personal effectiveness skills.

You’ll design engineering solutions, inspect sites, join client meetings, and collaborate with mentors and peers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to sustainable, community-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or related field
• Preferred: successful completion of EIT exam, or ability to take EIT exam within 12 months
• Demonstrated interest in your chosen field through previous internships, volunteering opportunities, or organization memberships
• Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
• Resilient, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous growth and delivering value
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
