Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks.
• Knowledge of Word, Outlook, etc.
• Comfort interviewing a variety of audiences: alumni, faculty, staff, students.

Responsibilities

• Interview alumni, faculty, staff, students and draft articles; edit content; compile the BSE newsletter; take photos; create social media graphics; post to social channels.
• Learn AU's digital asset management systems (HootSuite for social media, filing of videos/photos).
• Report to the BSE Director, Strategic Communications and Marketing; cover events onsite when possible.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Maintain organized workflow and communicate effectively with team.
• Onsite for video interviews; remote work flexibility as needed.
• Occasional evening or in-person event attendance may be required.
